Digital Wellness Drive in Bangalore, Impacting Over 2,600 Lives

Bangalore, July 28, 2025 — In a significant stride towards promoting mental health and responsible digital behavior, the Chetana Empowerment Foundation’s Bangalore Chapter successfully conducted over 15 Digital Wellness Awareness and Group Therapy sessions throughout July 2025. These impactful sessions reached more than 2,661 participants, including children, youth, and parents across schools and community centers in the city.

The core aim of the initiative was to sensitize participants to the harmful effects of excessive screen time and offer practical strategies for maintaining a healthy digital-life balance. Each session combined three powerful elements: Digital Sensitization, Group Therapy, and an engaging Skit Play that creatively depicted the challenges of screen addiction. These performances left a lasting impression, making the message both relatable and memorable for attendees.

This month-long campaign was made possible through strategic collaborations with institutions such as MES MPL Sastry Independent PU College, B Mona School, BGS, Government School Kadaballi, Need Base India, and Abhyaas. Their support was instrumental in expanding the initiative’s reach across diverse demographic groups.

“We are incredibly proud of the impact we’ve created this month,” said a spokesperson from Team Chetana. “Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to all our partner institutions and the community members who participated with enthusiasm and openness.”

The initiative marks another milestone in Chetana Empowerment Foundation’s ongoing efforts to foster emotionally resilient and digitally responsible communities.
