Education
Education holds immense importance for individuals who have faced numerous hardships. Some students harbor a deep desire to pursue higher education, possessing considerable talent. However, due to limited resources and lack of guidance, their aspirations are often shattered. Chetana plays a crucial role in the lives of such students who aspire to bring about change through education. Under the Pahchan project, Chetana operates two programs:
1. Chetana Jeevan Nirman
2. Chetana Vidya Sahayyata
3. Value Education
1. Chetana Jeevan Nirman
Under Jeevan Nirman, we provide mentorship to 30 students at Happy Village. These students hail from remote villages in rural Marathwada and come from underprivileged backgrounds. Jeevan Nirman not only focuses on providing higher education but also emphasizes character building and the overall development of the child. When students join Happy Village after completing 10th grade, Chetana provides them with residential, food, and educational facilities. They also have access to a dedicated computer lab. Additionally, they receive personality development and English speaking classes. Regular meditation and yoga sessions help them enhance their concentration levels. Sports and cultural activities instill in them a sense of teamwork and camaraderie. Through Chetana Jeevan Nirman, we are nurturing resilient youth.
