STORIES THAT INSPIRE OUR JOURNEY
I am a parent of two daughters who have been attending the child camp for the past three years. During this time, I have also attended the parents’ sessions, which have brought significant positive changes in how I handle my daughters. They have learned to respect and take care of us, lessons they gained from the camp.
As a working woman, managing both my professional and personal life was challenging. However, the workshops taught me valuable practices, such as waking up early and incorporating meditation into my routine. These changes have allowed me to lead a more peaceful life. Thank you, Chetana Empowerment Foundation, for making such a positive impact on our lives.

The play of Destiny is really different and great. It was the god whose wish was that we should get the positive vibrations of the Happy Village. We are taking with us a lot of positive energy. Before reaching here at the location we were able to feel that positive vibrations and also we were excited. In my heart, I was really happy that this spiritual holiday is going to be very good. I have never experienced something like this before. Both faculties, E.V. Girish and Mitali Ma’am, skillfully guided us through the journey of self-management in a simple and practical manner, enabling us to connect deeply with ourselves and become more aware of our emotions. We feel fortunate to have spent two enriching days at Happy Village; it was truly an awesome experience.

‘I think it is a life changing retreat. It is taught with honesty, insight and integrity. The facilitation of group participation creates a safe and supportive environment. Learning techniques to be more in the present has given me greater inner strength and peace of mind and the possibility of belief in myself and hope for the future. For me it feels as if is the start of a journey and several others I talked with on the course felt the same.’

Priti, a third-year MBBS student, was doing great in her studies. But things took a tough turn when three of her hostel friends tried to harm themselves every few weeks. This really shook Priti up, and she started having scary thoughts too. Thankfully, one of her friends noticed and asked for help from Chetana’s counselor.
After five sessions with the counselor, Priti started feeling better. Those scary thoughts went away, and she wasn’t so worried about her exams anymore. She also learned some calming tricks like meditation and positive thinking.
When her exams were over, Priti was thrilled to find out she’d passed! She messaged the counselor, saying thanks for helping her feel strong again. Now, she’s happy and at peace, ready for whatever comes next.

Hello, my name is Pranav and I am currently in class 12 th . I have been taking counselling for the last six months from Mitali madam and the journey has been very fabulous for me. I have overcome my fears, doubts, and securities, and got to know the true meaning of happiness. And I got to know the importance of mindfulness in life. Staying in present, affirmations, and self-esteem has increased my self-confidence and it also improved my performance academically, socially, and emotionally more stable and independent.

“I was playing online games on my mobile for hours and hours and trying to get rid from this addiction but could not. When I attended the 3rd session of Mitali mam and followed all the instruction of exercise, I could able to reduce my timing on the screen. I thank you for this program that you have organized in our school. I am feeling nice now. I have deleted that gaming app also from my mobile phone. Thank you!”
