Empower Child through Living Values
- The Chetana Empowerment Foundation (CEF) is dedicated to addressing the decline in values among school students, especially adolescents. This decline has contributed to an increase in issues such as criminal activities, addictions, and excessive use of gadgets. The ‘Empower Child through Living Values’ project aims to cultivate a values-based education system that encourage the overall development of children.
- Through interactive workshops, short films, discussions, fun activities, and role-playing, the project instills 50 core values—such as peace, happiness, cleanliness, respect, compassion, honesty, and responsibility—in children from a young age.
- CEF has launched this initiative in collaboration with students and teachers from both private and public schools in rural and urban areas of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) and nearby villages in Ahmedabad.
- The project’s success in the year 2023-2024 is evident, having reached over 30 schools offline, benefiting more than 3,150 students, and over 12 online schools, benefiting more than 1,547 students. This demonstrates the importance and effectiveness of integrating values education into the curriculum, positively shaping the lives of young learners.
