Empower Child Through Living Values

Value Education is a stimulated process through which we impart value-based education.

The Greek philosopher Aristotle said long ago and it stands eternally true that,

“An education of the MIND without an education of the HEART is no education at all.”

About Value Education Project:

Chetana empowerment Foundation has been actively working to enrich students with Value Education as a national priority since 2012.

Our education has always emphasized academic results, this is because only academic intelligence offers virtually on preparation for the turmoil that future life brings.

Value-Based-Education is highly needed in our modern society because our lives have become more miserable. The quantity of education has considerably increased, but the quality has decreased.

CEF is mainly trying to address the problem of diminishing value among the school students ( adolescents ) as well as in teachers: mainly resulting in an increase in problems like participation in criminal activities, addiction, violence, over aggression, excessive usage of gadgets etc. Students have very negative consequences on their academic learning and on their relationships with others.

 

Need of the Project:

Chetana empowerment Foundation has strongly believed that these mentioned problems ( Crime Addiction and over usages of the screen ) can be solved only by providing Value Education and Life Management Skill-LMS program to school-going children i.e adolescent students.

While each generation of children seems to get smarter, their emotional ( like lack of empathy, negotiation, and cooperation ) and social skills seem to be plummeting.

In today’s scenario, there is a pressing need the time to ‘Speak, Think and Act’ on values since childhood. If we successfully impart values in childhood then we can create thousands of healthy adults who can build healthy families and nations.

Hence, Chetana Empowerment Foundation has undertaken a task of Prevention, Awareness in the domain of ‘Value Education’.

Target Age Group and Population

Chetana empowerment Foundation targeting ZP and Government Schools and Teachers which comes within the peripheral of CEF’s project location, will be selected for this project i.e., 2000 students ( 8 to 10 and 12-14 years of age ) from 20 schools of 20 villages and 1000 Teachers from 50 Schools of 50 villages.

CEF is planning to implement this project at first level targeting 2000 students and 1000 teachers in one year.

Long Term Impact

For Students

  • These children get timely help from Chetana through counseling, the crime rate, and behavioral issues will fall down.
  • Poor, Needy, and Scholar Students will get career goals to achieve in their life through Chetana Jeevan Nirman project without any disturbance and become able to pursue higher education and job opportunities in the fields of their choice. 
  • Students passing through CEF’s Jeevan Nirman project would have received a good quality education with English and Holistic development with Life Management Skills, which would enable them to realize their full potential in any field they choose and lead to improved quality of education producing more confidence and educated students.
  • Students Excellence in Education will improve and ultimately the academic standards too.
  • Emotionally Sensitive Type, Aggressive Type, Children will be identified through training.

For Teachers

  • Teachers Excellence in Education will improve and ultimately the academic standards too.
  • As teachers are being trained in this project to enable teaches to have a meaningful and harmonious relationship with their students.
  • Students, teachers and their schools will come within the mainstream of an ideal education system.
  • Customized training will be provided to develop good trains and regulate the bad traits.
  • Ultimately, it also ensures that the next generation gets far better parenting and therefore a better life.

Uniqueness of Project

  • The 5 Stages program is itself a uniqueness of this program cause each stage has its certain outcomes to be achieved.
  • Both the stakeholders (Students and Teachers) are benefit at the same time where school teachers have equal opportunity to improve their EQ.
  • These teachers (undergone the training program) will impart this value education knowledge to their school students and many will get benefitted.
  • CEF’s Chetana Jeevan Niramn Project will open the doors and make it possible for 10 scholar students to pursue Higher Education which will be a turning point for their careers to be bright
  • School Students and Teachers will get guidance and knowledge from Experts and Experienced professionals.
  • Mentorship from CEF on various topics like Career Guidance, Goal Setting, Memory Management, Counselling, etc throughout their academic career.
