Four Life Management Skill Camps were arranged by Chetana Empowerment Foundation in the month of April-May 2018.
The purpose of these camps was to teach the students the techniques of discerning their emotions and managing them.
Along with this, the students were also trained to recognise their goals, enhance their concentration in various ways, communicate effectively, acknowledge the importance of self discipline and witness several methods of improving their memory power.
150 students between 11 to 17 years of age enthusiastically participated in these camps.
One of the important features of this camp was the solitary session of ‘Positive Parenting Programme’ arranged for the 120 parents to discuss on the contemporary parenting tools.
A 10th standard student was able to fathom the reason behind her misery which transformed her behaviour after the camp. Her parents were highly delighted by this change.
Similarly, a student of 11th standard expressed that until now he was very disturbed about his goal. During the camp, he received clear insights on the way to identify one’s goal and set it.
The memory enhancement techniques were applauded by many students and several students experienced relaxation through meditation.
Students also expressed that they learned several novel things through different fun filled activities.
The students and parents are looking forward to attend such programmes in the future.
Various faculties, volunteers and members of Chetana extended their co-operation to make this programme successful.
The faculties, Ritu Thakkar from Mumbai, Mitali Lathi from Ahmedabad, Gayatri Randad, CA Ashish Malpani and Rajni Sarda from Aurangabad guided the students and their parents.
